Our customer was working on an international project for a two-seat aircraft that will be certified on line with Part 23 requirements. In order to control the weight of the aircraft, customer decided to switch some of the parts from metal to composite.
CTT was contacted to engineer and produce the proposed parts.
Although none of the parts were a part of the primary structure (mostly fairings), parts had to well through out to maximize the weight savings compared to the original design.
CTT team was able to design all of the parts and produce them on time and on budget. Aircraft has recently obtained Part 23 certification in the Republic of Serbia and is currently pursuing certification with other regulators.
